Siendo este uno de los pocos universos atendidos por la investigación entre las músicas amazónicas se analizará la documentación escrita y se identificará el tipo de enfoque que tuvo cada publicación, es decir, se dilucidará si las temáticas tratadas en los artículos son de interés etnomusicológico, etnológico, lingüístico o musicológico. Se favorecerán las publicaciones con enfoque musicológico o etnomusicológico, en las cuales se contrastará la información dada por cada investigador, para encontrar semejanzas o divergencias en cuanto a qué motivó la documentación y cómo se realizó esta. Asimismo, se comentarán los vacíos que se hayan encontrado en la documentación tanto escrita como sonora hasta la fecha y se brindarán sugerencias para futuras investigaciones.The present research makes known the state of the field of documentation of music and musical practice in Kakataibo songs from the Ucayali region, a realm of songs that accompany daily tasks: lulling a child to sleep, disagreeing with others, lamenting the death of a loved one, or curing. Since this is one of the few realms attended to by research among Amazonian musicians, I will analyze the written documentation and identify the type of focus of each publication. In other words, I will elucidate if the themes addressed in the articles are of ethnomusicological, ethnological, linguistic, or musicological interest. I will favor publications with a musicological or ethnomusicological focus, in which I will contrast the information given by each researcher, to find similarities or divergences with respect to what motivated the documentation and how it was completed.
