La Práctica musical como espacio de inclusión social infantil: Experiencias de Portal Norteño Music Perú en Huacho, Huaura

| dc.description.abstract | El presente artículo tiene como propósito mostrar el rol que ha cumplido la práctica musical en la transformación social de niños y jóvenes de la ciudad de Huacho, teniendo como marco principal el proyecto Portal Norteño Music Perú en la vida de estos, sus familias y la sociedad. Debido a la ausencia de bibliografía sobre el tema en Perú, no se contó con información previa suficiente; por ello, el carácter de investigación ha sido exploratorio. Los procedimientos empleados para la recopilación de datos y la visión del estado actual fueron la observación directa; la descripción; las entrevistas a los niños del coro y de la orquesta; y las conversaciones con las madres de familia, los instructores musicales, las autoridades municipales de Huacho y con el fundador y director del proyecto. En el presente trabajo, abordamos cómo el proyecto ha tenido una acción importante y cómo sus esfuerzos orientados a mejorar la vida de estos niños han sido satisfactorios. Concluimos en que es necesario extender acciones de esta forma de práctica musical a contextos de mayor riesgo social y vulnerabilidad. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the present article is to demonstrate the role of musical practice in the social transformation of children and youth in the city of Huacho, with a central focus on the project Portal Norteño Music Perú in the lives of these children, their families, and society. Due to the absence of publications on this topic in Peru, there is a lack of adequate prior information; for this reason, this research has been exploratory in nature. The collection of data and the picture of the current state were achieved through a methodology of direct observation; description; interviews with children in the chorus and orchestra; and conversations with the mothers, music instructors, municipal authorities of Huacho, and with the founder and director of the project. In the present work, we address how the project has had an important effect and how the efforts oriented to improving the lives of these children have been satisfactory. We conclude considering what is necessary to extend the actions of this form of musical practice to contexts of greater social risk and vulnerability. | |
