Resumen
This research project focuses on musical education aimed at children with visual disabilities at Centro de Educación Básica Especial No. 09 San Francisco de Asís in Lima, Peru. The purpose of this project was to understand the process of teaching music to a group of children between 9 and 11 years old, taking into account the characteristics of the disability they present. Method: By interacting with a human group, it was decided to carry out a qualitative investigation, which was approached with the action-research design since it allows us to know the needs of the group through field work and carry out an action plan in order to solve the problems encountered. Results: It was observed that the adaptation of different methods used in musical pedagogy, such as the Kodaly and Dalcroze method, favored the learning process of the students, allowing them to use their own bodies to develop the contents. In addition, the importance of the teacher's work when carrying out a differentiated work was recognized. Discussion: According to other authors there was agreement on the importance of knowing the specific needs of each student with visual disabilities and the need to use different resources and tools to facilitate their musical learning.
