Resumen
La publicación de los discos ¡Viva Rosa Mercedes Ayarza! y Mi terruño: música peruana en quinteto de metales representa un doble logro para la Universidad Nacional de Música, ya que son fonogramas producidos íntegramente por la institución a partir de la primera “Convocatoria a iniciativas de publicación bibliográfica y discográfica” del Centro de Investigación, Creación Musical y Publicaciones (Cicremp), hoy Instituto de Investigación, dirigida a la comunidad académica con la finalidad de promover la generación de fuentes documentales de valor histórico y contribuir a la difusión de obras que componen el patrimonio musical peruano en su diversidad de formas, estilos y expresiones.
The publication of the albums ¡Viva Rosa Mercedes Ayarza! and Mi terruño: música peruana en quinteto de dientes represents a double achievement for the Universidad Nacional de Música, since they are phonograms produced entirely by the institution based on the first “Call for bibliographic and discographic publication initiatives” of the Center for Research, Musical Creation and Publications (Cicremp), now a Research Institute, addressed to the academic community with the purpose of promoting the generation of documentary sources of historical value and contributing to the dissemination of works that make up the Peruvian musical heritage in its diversity of forms, styles and expressions.
