Resumen
Este trabajo explora qué recursos de la dirección coral son necesarios al interpretar el Kyrie y el Gloria de la Misa del Papa Marcello, para que directores corales y educadores la ejecuten. Para ello, se ha identificado el carácter y textura de ambas partes de la misa, llegando a la conclusión de que son contrastantes. De cada una de ellas se han escogido fragmentos que son analizados, revisando la teoría del contrapunto imitativo de estilo estricto y de la conducción melódica, a fin de brindar alcances para su interpretación.
This paper explores which choral conducting resources are necessary when interpreting the Kyrie and the Gloria of the Mass of Pope Marcello, so that choral directors and educators can perform it. To do so, the character and texture of both parts of the mass have been identified, reaching the conclusion that they are contrasting. Fragments from each of them have been chosen and analyzed, reviewing the theory of strict style imitative counterpoint and melodic conduction, in order to provide scope for their interpretation.
