Resumen
Arturo Ruiz del Pozo es uno de los compositores más prolíficos de la música electrónica peruana de las últimas décadas. Según Alvarado, Arturo Ruiz del Pozo fue el primero en fusionar sonoridades provenientes de las tradiciones indígenas del Perú con músicas electrónicas. Su trabajo, afirma, “coincide con el surgimiento de una nueva generación de músicos peruanos que empieza a darse a conocer iniciada la década de los ochenta y que van a desarrollar propuestas de fusión de lo ancestral y lo vanguardista”.
Arturo Ruiz del Pozo is one of the most prolific composers of Peruvian electronic music in recent decades. According to Alvarado, Arturo Ruiz del Pozo was the first to fuse sounds from indigenous Peruvian traditions with electronic music. His work, he says, “coincides with the emergence of a new generation of Peruvian musicians who began to make themselves known in the early 1980s and who are going to develop proposals that fuse the ancestral and the avant-garde.”
