La música en el Conjunto Nacional de Folklore: apuntes y reflexiones sobre sus inicios y su posterior proyección, al cumplirse el 50° aniversario de fundación

Resumen
El presente texto se ocupa de la música y los músicos que fueron parte del primer grupo que integró el apenas fundado Conjunto Nacional de Folklore en la década de 1970. Para ello, se inicia describiendo el contexto en el que tuvo lugar su creación y cómo se dio el proceso de asignación de Victoria Santa Cruz como su directora. Seguidamente, para abordar la música en la entidad artística se plantean tres ejes: primero, se da cuenta del perfil que debían tener los músicos en la visión de su directora, de cómo se dio eso en la práctica, además de un registro de los nombres de los primeros integrantes. Luego, se describe el rol que tenía el asesor musical en la agrupación artística para, finalmente, dar cuenta en una tercera parte de las músicas que se tocaban en los primeros años del conjunto, echando mano de material documental diverso y algunos testimonios de viva voz. Como complemento a todo lo expuesto, y previo a unas reflexiones finales, se mostrará también cómo una institución pública en la actualidad intenta dar continuidad de manera simbólica al conjunto fundado por Victoria Santa Cruz hace 50 años.
This text deals with the music and musicians who were part of the first group that joined the newly founded Conjunto Nacional de Folklore in the 1970s. To do so, it begins by describing the context in which its creation took place and how the process of appointing Victoria Santa Cruz as its director unfolded. Next, to address the music within the artistic entity, three aspects are presented: first, an account is given of the profile that the musicians were expected to have in the director's vision, how this played out in practice, as well as a register of the names of the first members. Then, the role of the musical advisor in the artistic group is described, before finally providing an overview of the music played in the first years of the ensemble, drawing on various documentary materials and some oral testimonies. As a complement to all of the above, and prior to some final reflections, it is also shown how a public institution today is symbolically trying to continue the group founded by Victoria Santa Cruz 50 years ago.
