José Sosaya Wekselman (San Pedro de Lloc, La Libertad, 1956) es compositor y docente de la carrera de composición en la Universidad Nacional de Música y en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas. Como creador, se ha interesado asiduamente por las tendencias de vanguardia y por nuevos lenguajes y se convirtió, desde la década de los 1980 hasta principios del siglo XXI en un representante ineludible de la música electroacústica en el Perú, gracias a su incansable curiosidad intelectual. Conversamos con él sobre este período en particular.
